Husband and wife team Corey and Laura Beatus have a long and storied perspective in the juicing industry with a combined 30 years of experience. They have been juicing from the days that juice was a fringe industry, serving only hippies and celebrities, to today where the "trend" has spread across the country.
Corey Jordan Beatus is a native of Queens, NY. He grew up running camp kitchens in upstate NY where he began, at a young age, to appreciate the culinary arts. Corey has a degree in Restaurant Management from Florida International University and SUNY Delhi. He also has a Journalism degree from SUNY New Paltz. For six years, he served as Manager of Lucky’s Juice Joint, the father of Liquiteria formerly Lucky's Liquiteria, in Soho, NYC where he met his wife, Laura. There they discovered their love for juicing, whole foods, and for working together. Corey is also a passionate musician, pouring as much love into as his music as his edible creations.
Laura Mann Beatus graduated from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music before going on to earn her Holistic Health Practitioners license from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. She found her love and appreciation for juicing while serving as Assistant Manager at the infamous Lucky’s Juice Joint in Soho. She is fascinated by the politics of food and has studied different dietary theories throughout the world from the traditional to the modern. Through this culinary journey Laura discovered that what makes her most happy is the simple art of Juice and making sure it is available to people of all walks of life.
